Washington D.C. is serviced by three area airports, Reagan National (DCA), Baltimore/Washington International (BWI), and Dulles International (IAD). Reagan airport is the closest to the city located just over the bridge in Virginia. Baltimore/Washington and Dulles are both about 35 miles outside the city in Maryland and Virginia respectively. Travel time from Reagan National to most of our vacation rentals is about 20-25 minutes. Visitors should expect travel time from Baltimore/Washington and Dulles to be closer to 1.5 to 2 hours. All Washington D.C. airports enjoy taxi and SuperShuttle transportation services. Reagan National includes Metro (subway) access, from the Yellow and Blue lines. Currently, there is no Metro (subway) access to either BWI or Dulles airports, though construction is underway for a new Metro line to Dulles. This project is not expected to be completed until sometime in 2016. BWI enjoys a connection to both the commuter MARC train and Amtrak trains arriving at Union Station. Both Dulles and BWI have Metrobus service with connections to the subway.
