Logan Circle Neighborhood
14th and Rhode Island Avenue NW
The Logan Retreat is an updated 1-bedroom, English basement apartment located in one of the best neighborhoods of Washington DC. The Logan Circle neighborhood offers visitors lots of restaurants, shopping, and entertainment, is close to the sights, the Convention Center, and other convention or government buildings. Restaurants include Le Diplomate, Logan Tavern, Church Key, Rice, and Matchbox, just to name a few. Someone recently told us they counted more than 40 restaurants within a 15-minute walk. Whole Foods grocery is 2 blocks from the front door, with Trader Joe’s, the all new Giant (with delivery available) and Safeway grocery options also within a 10-12 minute walk.
Transportation & Sightseeing
Public transportation options include 3 Metro stations; the U Street/Cardozo and Mt. Vernon Square stations for the Green/Yellow lines, and the Farragut North station for the Red line. Each station is a 10 to 12-minute walk. Right on the corner at 14th street, are the 52 & 54 Metrobus lines directly to the National Mall with stops within 3 blocks of almost every Smithsonian Museum and most of the Monuments/Memorials. Capitol Bikeshare is at the end of the block and the Circulator Bus (Green line) is a block away — downtown for $1.
Banks, unique shopping, convenience stores (7-11 is at the end of the block, CVS is next door to Whole Foods), night clubs, coffee shops, and ice cream are some of the other retail options in the neighborhood. If you want it, it is likely here!
Check in time is after 2:00 p.m. and check out is 11:00 a.m. promptly. In some cases, you may be able to arrange an earlier time for luggage drop off, please check with a reservation specialist.
