Great stay!

Very conveniently located just three blocks from the convention center entrance. The resident's visitor parking pass was helpful for street parking but you do have to drive around a little to find parking. I was able to park within two blocks of the apartment every evening. Two nights I got lucky and had parking right in front of the apartment. Great host, we enjoyed it!

Very convenient to see the DC sights! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★

My two teenage daughters and I stayed here for a week in April. The week coincided with the Cherry Blossom Festival which was very lucky for us. The apartment was perfect! We were able to make a quick breakfast and hop outside and grab a Lyft to take us our destination for the day. We walked around the neighborhood a few times during the evening and it seems very safe. We mainly ate out but it was nice to have the kitchen for the few meals we ate in. We really liked the Cozy Kitchen just down the street. The bed was very comfortable and we all slept really well - the neighborhood was very quiet considering how close it is to the city. The owners called me when we arrived to check that we were settled in. We will definitely stay here again if we're back in DC.

Very clean, comfortable, nice!

This was our first vrbo but it won't be our last. Very good experience, nice clean very livable space. We especially liked having the extra room to relax in compared to a hotel room. Met the owner who was very helpful and helped guide us to some excellent eating spots all within walking distance. Will stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Quiet & Convenient

It was in a perfect, quiet, historical neighborhood so close to the metro.
So convenient for getting to all parts of the City, but silence at night to sleep. Jim was delightful.

Really Nice Kept Apartment

Everything you need is in this place. They did a great job with directions and making sure I got in when I arrived late. Perfect location. Kitchen is well stocked. A very smooth trip.

This is an amazingly located big and cozy apartment. The hosts were wonderful and professional and the area unbeatable. I’d love to stay here again!

Excellent apartment for convention center events. Short walk to convention center and to metro. Owners are very accommodating. Apartment is quiet and has spacious living room.

This little place was about as homey as one can want for a home away during a conference at the nearby conference center. It is walking distance to the convention center had all the amenities that one could need while away. It was about the same as or a bit cheaper than a hotel nearby and I wanted a bit more space to spread out. I adored the beautiful home that it was a part of. There's normal city noise to be had. There's a dog who lives upstairs and if you're home during the day you may hear him. There's a grandfather clock over the bedroom downstairs which was a bit non-ideal but the first two nights that I was in I was so tired I didn't hear it at all. The owner, Jim, is kind and helpful. Would definitely stay here again if I were to come to D.C.!

Great apartment, well presented and in a very convenient part of town

The location of the basement apartment is 2 blocks west of the Washington Convention Center and extremely convenient if that is your destination. There is a supermarket 1 block west. There are many restaurants within 3 blocks also. Although below ground with partial low ceilings, the apartment is large, clean, neat, and well-maintained. It is in a residential area and is not very loud or busy. The kitchen was well-equipped. The bedroom is comfortable, and there is a pull-out couch in the living room. I did not use the outdoor patio but it looked nice. A management company handled communications, so I did not interact with the owners, however all the correspondence was clear and my guess is the owners would have helped with anything if there was a problem. I would gladly stay there again.
