Location Location Location—Isn’t that the saying? The Garden View at Capitol South apartment offers visitor to Washington a prime location, in the heat of the city on Capitol Hill. Walk to the Library of Congress, U.S. Capitol, Supreme Court, the Smithsonian Museums, Monuments and the National Mall. Washington’s Metro system is 1.5 blocks from the front door, Capitol South station with access to the blue & orange lines, making it easy to get to anything you can’t walk to. The apartment offers 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and a spacious open floor plan living, dining room and kitchen. One bedroom is furnished with a king sized bed, the second with 2 twin beds. The bathroom has a generous walk in tiled shower and vanity with dual sinks. In the living room, the sofa opens to a queen sized bed, allowing for up to 6 guests. The kitchen includes full sized appliances, ample counter space and all the necessities for meals and dining. Amenities include wireless internet, TV with cable in the living room, and laundry with modern European style front loading units. Perhaps one of the best features of the property is the beautiful gardens. Every window, with the exception of the kitchen, overlooks the landscaped yard, a personal pride of the owner who lives upstairs from the apartment. The kitchen window overlooks a small private patio, reserved for guests. If you are traveling to DC with a car, we are able to provide a visitors parking permit for street parking. There is also a public parking garage less than 2 blocks from the unit. A minimum stay of 3 nights is required at all times. Stays of 7 nights or more receive a 10% discount. All bed and bath linens are provided for your stay. We do not charge a cleaning fee, but expect the unit to be left tidy upon departure.
