Wonderful Stay

My husband and our two daughters thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay here! The house is clean and well stocked with anything you could possibly need. The owners are super kind and went out of their way to make us feel welcome! They even surprised our girls with some festive St. Patrick's Day cookies! The neighborhood is friendly and safe and we enjoyed walking to Lincoln Park. The metro is a short distance away and we had no troubles finding a parking spot although we really didn't drive much. Safeway is a quick and easy walk up the street for any of your grocery needs. We truly can't say enough about our whole experience in DC and it all started with the owners. They make you feel right at home - you won't regret staying here. March 28, 2017 Jennifer Coy (Guest)

Loved it!

The apartment was exactly as described. I really enjoyed my stay there and I absolutely loved the neighborhood. Eastern Market is about a 15 minute walk from the apartment and makes for the perfect Sunday morning stroll. Also, there is a wonderful park two blocks up the street that offers morning workout classes. The hosts were incredible and thought of everything needed to make pleasant stay. All in all, I would highly recommend the Phillips Row Apartment. September 13, 2016 Erica (Guest)

Nice place, nice owners

This place "lives" bigger than it looks, and everything is super clean and new seeming. Even though it is an English basement apartment, there was plenty of light. We were a couple and one teenager, and the place was plenty big enough for us and the sofa bed was more comfy than others we've slept on. The owners are very nice and helpful without being intrusive. The bus stop is right across the street and the route goes to Union Station in about 12 minutes. You can pick up a train (I think the Red line) or the DC Circulator bus there. You can also walk to one of the two train stations closest to the apartment (Eastern Market or Stadium Armory), and the walk feels safe, but it is a little longer than is ideal after a full day of walking around museums or whatever. We are good walkers, so it was OK, but we ending up taking the bus quite a bit also. There are pretty good restaurants at Eastern Market and Barracks Row, but the places closer to the apartment weren't anything special. Nice, quiet, safe-feeling neighborhood. We did not have trouble finding a parking place on the street. August 26, 2016 Carmy (Guest)

Perfect!

This property was exactly as represented and then some! It was perfect for our stay in DC. The unit was very clean and well stocked with all of the basics one would need for a brief stay! We really appreciated the coffee and supplies as well as the metro cards. There were plentiful soft towels and bathroom supplies. This was the nicest unit for the price that I have stayed in. The neighborhood was really nice and having Lincoln Park so close by was awesome for our 22 month old grandson. We did not need any help with what to do in DC, but the host was available if we had questions. There was a packet of info that was very complete to tell you about the unit and DC. We would be happy to stay here again if we needed a place to stay!! April 2016 June 30, 2016 Jody (Guest)

Phillips Row Apartment

We stayed for a week in this apartment and it could not have been a better experience! The apartment completely exceeded all of our expectations! It is in a lovely neighborhood and very conveniently located near a subway station, bus stops, restaurants and shopping. The apartment is beautiful as well as fully equipped with everything we needed or wanted. The owners have provided extensive information for tenants regarding the property, local "to do's" as well as personal recommendations. We highly recommend this apartment for a wonderful DC vacation!
